Julie Doiron and the Wooden Stars "Sweeter"

I saw Julie Doiron two days ago. You probably already know this.

But I couldn't figure out why I knew the tune "Sweeter" that she played live. I completely forgot about this album (and song) although I knew all the words:

Here's the original version which appeared on her album Loneliest In The Morning:

My favourite tune off that album has to be Sorry, Pt. 1:

  1. I'm very disappointed I missed her. I went to see Burning Love at Parts & Labour to amass a few bruises and blows to the head instead.

I haven't heard too much of her material beyond Broken Girl and Loneliest in the Morning, but I am getting very Low-like vibes from "Jule Doiron and the Wooden Stars." On my need-to-experience bucket list.

  2. It may be a touch happy for you if you enjoy her older material but I am in love with her album 'I Can Wonder What You Did With Your Day.'
