Julie Doiron at the Horseshoe; Thursday February 3, 2011

This was the loveliest show of the year this far.

I was taken by her first gasp of air when she sang the word "I" to sing the beautiful tune "The Wrong Guy." Except, she sang it as a medley, as she so often does:

This go 'round she didn't play the tune "Dark Horse." But she did play a handful of wonderful songs off her last release I Can Wonder What You Did With Your Day.

She also had an accompanying drummer and guitarist. She even left her guitar at one song to bear just the microphone in hand. She sported it extremely well.

I had a bunch of fun at this gig. I love how sincere Doiron is.

I don't care what the majority says, she ain't all sad.
